Manchester United head to Goodison Park on Saturday for an early afternoon kickoff against Everton.

Ruben Amorim’s side have endured a disastrous season.

The Red Devils continue to sink further down the Premier League table since the Portuguese replaced Erik ten Hag in November.

Their latest setback came in a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, with James Maddison scoring the decisive goal.

Everton, on the other hand, have enjoyed a resurgence under David Moyes, who has guided them away from the relegation zone.

The Toffees come into this match in good form, with four wins and a draw in their last five matches, including a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend.

This will be one of the final games played at Goodison Park before Everton move to the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium next season.

Both teams, however, are dealing with extensive injury problems ahead of this clash.

Everton are without Armando Broja (leg), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (hamstring), Dwight McNeil (knee), Iliman Ndiaye (knee), Nathan Patterson (hamstring), Orel Mangala (cruciate ligament), Seamus Coleman (muscle cramps), and Youssuf Chermiti (muscle injury).

Manchester United’s squad is even more depleted, with ten players unavailable.

Amad Diallo (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Christian Eriksen (knock) and Leny Yoro (knock) are both doubtful.

Jonny Evans (physical discomfort) is out until late February, and Kobbie Mainoo (thigh) is expected to return in mid-March.

Lisandro Martínez (cruciate ligament) is sidelined until 2026, while Luke Shaw (hamstring) is not expected back until April.

Manuel Ugarte (muscle), Mason Mount (muscle), and Toby Collyer (muscle) are all also ruled out until early March.

The Red Devils need to return to winning ways, otherwise further questions will be asked of Amorim’s future at the club.
