Manchester United should target Jonathan David and Viktor Gyokeres

Weighing up all the factors, United’s best bet would be to go for both Jonathan David and Viktor Gyokeres.
With Jonathan David being such a consistent goal scorer for the past four years, missing the opportunity to sign him for free would be a massive mistake.
As there would be no transfer fee, there’s limited risk compared to the versatility and ability he brings, with the 25-year-old still having years ahead of him at his peak.
Also signing him on a free would allow for other funds to be directed to the signing of Viktor Gyokeres who has proven experience both in England and in Amorim’s system, with the Portuguese manager making him the striker he is now.
Whilst Gyokeres’ release clause stands at £63 million, it’s expected that United could negotiate a deal for less than this, and in comparison to Osimhen, Gyokeres has the edge with his experience.
Osimhen comes in as a close back-up option to Gyokeres given his proven status in multiple leagues, however the bidding war that looks likely to kick off puts Osimhen on the back foot.
