Finally is Jonathan David, the Canadian striker lighting up Ligue 1.

With 23 goals and 10 assists in 41 games, David has a goal contribution rate of 0.8 per game, only slightly higher than Ekitike.

The 25-year-old has been at Lille for four and a half years now, however his contributions have been consistently high since joining in 2020.

David as wracked up 107 goals and 27 games across 224 games for Lille, however with his contract now coming to its end in the summer, the Canadian striker is eligible for a free transfer.

It’s been reported recently that David is already in talks with United as well as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, with the striker prioritising a move to the Premier League, being another factor in United’s favour.

However, David is only proven in France with Lille and Belgium with KAA Gent, giving him no experience of the Premier League or English football and making his adaptability to the Premier League questionable.

That said, David does bring a versatility in being able to play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder, which could be a huge asset to Amorim, especially with the state of injuries at Old Trafford over the last two years.
