Antony & Alejandro Garnacho – 3/10
I am putting these two together as their displays were largely identical.
Both of them worked hard out of possession but were diabolical with the ball.
Their decision making was at an all-time low and was a key factor to why United couldn’t create any big chances.
Rasmus Hojlund – 3/10
The Dane was ineffective yet again and was hardly involved in the game.
He only had one real chance to score and he kicked it straight into Alisson Becker’s body.
Marcus Rashford, Hannibal Mejbri & Facundo Pellistri – N/A
Difficult to give any of these guys ratings as they came on really late in a game where United were mainly defending and weren’t attacking much, so not playing to any of their real strengths (which are going forward).
Erik ten Hag – 6/10
This was a positive result for ten Hag, as pressure was seriously building on him.
I can’t give him much praise as the team practically created nothing but it was good to see some resoluteness at the back for once.
