Manchester United have become the first team to not lose at Anfield in the Premier League this season.

Andre Onana – 8/10

Onana made a whopping eight saves in this game, albeit most of them came from low quality shots from the home team.

His passing was poor however, especially his switches out to the full-backs.

Luke Shaw – 9/10

The Englishman was incredible in this match.

He neutralised Mohamed Salah to the point where the Egyptian had to move away from the right-wing.

A true lesson in defending from him.

Raphael Varane – 9/10

Another man who was key to United keeping a clean sheet, Varane was like a magnet to the ball in United’s box.

He was clearing every cross away and blocking shots left, right and centre.

Performances like this makes me wonder even more why he wasn’t starting matches for so long.

Surely has won his place back in the side for United’s upcoming games.

Jonny Evans – 8/10

Evans also contributed to the all-important clean sheet as he was solid defensively.

Even at his age, he’s proving to be an astute signing on a free transfer and adds a level of maturity to the backline that United badly need at times.

Diogo Dalot – 9/10

Joining the rest of his defensive colleagues, Dalot was magnificent.

Just like Shaw, he had Liverpool attackers completely neutralised all game and was great in possession.

The decision from Michael Oliver to send him off was well and truly disgraceful.
