Manchester United struggled in front of goal in the Premier League last season, scoring just 44 goals.
This was the 5th least goals scored in the league, only beating the tallies of Everton and the three relegated clubs.
Both first team strikers, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failed to make significant impacts, scoring just seven league goals between them.
Therefore, Ruben Amorim is desperate to transform his front line this summer.
After completing the signing of Matheus Cunha and agreeing a £71 million fee for Bryan Mbeumo, United are looking to complete the trio and sign a striker.
After being turned down by top targets Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike, United are now looking at Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins.

However, while United pursue a new forward, Hojlund could be on his way out.
The Danish striker had been linked with several clubs across Europe, with Roma being the most likely.
United have set a £45 million valuation for Hojlund, but Roma find this fee too high and prefer a loan deal with an option to buy.
However, this move now seems unlikely, as Roma have shifted focus to another target.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Roma have agreed a deal with Brighton for the signing of Evan Ferguson.
The deal will see Ferguson initially join Roma on loan, with an option to make the move permanent for €40 million.
Ferguson had multiple offers across Europe but personally chose Roma.
With Ferguson now set to lead the line, Roma will likely no longer pursue Hojlund, meaning United will need to find another suitor if they wish to offload the striker this summer.
