Radek Vitek
A goalkeeping option if Wayne Rooney needed one.
Vitek is a youngster who joined United from the Czech Republic and came to the club highly rated.
As Birmingham already have the likes of Neil Etheridge and John Ruddy, it may not make sense for Vitek to join them as he’d likely not see much action.
However, if Rooney wanted a different option between the sticks, then Vitek could be a option for him to consider.
After all, last season another Czech ‘keeper was sent on loan by United in the shape of Matej Kovar, who excelled at Sparta Prague before sealing a permanent transfer to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
So it could be that Vitek also sees that as a possible route to getting himself out there.
