Minimal change in midfield with two departures

Manchester United’s midfield could well be the area least affected by the squad overhaul this summer, with only two players anticipated to leave.
Firstly is Christian Eriksen who is set to leave at the end of his contract, with the Denmark international receiving less and less game time as the season went on under Amorim.
Secondly is Casemiro, United’s other veteran midfielder.
Despite Casemiro’s recent call up to the Brazil national squad under Carlo Ancelotti, United could well look to cash in on this new re-integration to the national squad.
The midfielder is one of United’s highest paid players, earning approximately £350,000 per week, and with his declining intensity on the pitch, despite strong contributions, now would be the right time for United to part ways with the 33-year-old.
Amorim is looking for intensity on the pitch from all his players, something which younger stars like Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte as well as Toby Collyer and upcoming star Sekou Kone can provide much more of.
