Three goalkeepers to leave Old Trafford

The goalkeeping department at Old Trafford could be the area that sees the biggest change this summer, despite United prioritising recruitment to its attack.
Ander Onana has been increasingly problematic as the season went on, with mistakes consistently resulting in United conceding goals and Amorim and his staff losing confidence in their first-choice keeper.
It’s already been reported heavily that United have a shortlist of replacement keepers, with Mike Maignan of AC Milan being a repeated name linked with an Old Trafford move. As such, it’s not unlikely that United will take the chance to sell the Cameroon international should a decent offer come in.
Second choice keeper Altay Bayindir is also set to depart as the Turkey international is growing frustrated with the lack of first team football he’s receiving at Old Trafford, especially given Onana’s lacking performances.
Admittedly Bayindir didn’t help himself when given the chance to replace Onana in between Europa League games, conceding four goals against Newcastle in April, another four against Brentford earlier this month and another two against West Ham a week later.
As such, the 27-year-old is keen to find himself a new club where he can establish himself as the first choice keeper.
The final keeper set to depart is recent loanee Radek Vitek who’s shown great promise on loan with BW Linz, helping them achieve a historic top-six finish in the Austrian Bundesliga.
However, with United firmly focusing on Elyh Harrison’s development, The Red Devils are looking likely to try and cash in on Vitek’s ability and offload him this summer to generate funds.
