Prolific 17-year-old striker Eddie Nketiah scored a hat-trick as Arsenal’s Under-23s beat Leicester 3-0 on Monday.
The teenager opened the scoring in the 13th minute and then struck twice early in the second half to take his tally for the season to 14.[phone]

Nketiah’s first came when he collected a Reiss Nelson pass inside the penalty area, turned a defender and bent a shot beyond the grasp of Leicester keeper Daniel Iversen.
Chris Willock later forced Iversen into a save, while at the other end, Gunners keeper Hugo Keto denied Kairo Mitchell.
Nketiah’s second was a superb individual effort, picking up the ball on halfway, taking on a backpedalling Leicester defence before striking a low finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
He quickly grabbed his hat-trick with the simplest of finishes from Vlad Dragomir’s lofted pass.
Also in Premier League 2, Stephen Humphrys scored twice as Fulham beat West Ham 4-1 at Craven Cottage.
Elsewhere, Charlton’s Under-23s won 1-0 against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
