Alejandro Garnacho – 10/10
Wow, wow, wow.
There aren’t enough words in the English language to describe Garnacho’s goal.
Purely for that potential Puskas award winning goal, he gets a perfect score.
Marcus Rashford – 6/10
It was another slog of a game for Marcus Rashford, as he was deployed out on the right again.
He was clearly lacking in confidence, so it was a nice gesture from Bruno Fernandes to give him the penalty, which the Englishman dispatched with real conviction.
Hopefully it can help him get some of his confidence back and we can see him score more in the future.
Anthony Martial – 9/10
Everton fans must really hate Anthony Martial with how often he scores against them. And he was at it again.
The Frenchman was anonymous in the first-half but stepped up massively in the second.
His technique and control to win the penalty and then to score himself were superb.
Facundo Pellistri – 6/10
The Uruguyan came on in the 72nd minute and was very lively down the right-hand side.
He played a significant role in the third goal by cutting in onto his left foot to find Bruno Fernandes at the edge of the box.
An encouraging cameo from the 21-year-old.
Sofyan Amrabat, Aaron Wan-Bissaka & Hannibal Mejbri – N/A
Erik ten Hag – 7/10
I was largely happy with ten Hag’s selections in this game, especially the inclusion of Kobbie Mainoo.
The fact ten Hag trusts him enough to start him in such a hostile environment is a great sign for Mainoo’s future at United.
The decision to play Dalot over Wan-Bissaka at right-back also paid off as the Portuguese contributed significantly to the final result.
The inclusions of Scott McTominay and Victor Lindelof were the only negatives in my eyes.
