3. A Mountain to climb for Mason

Despite some hard work on the edge of the opposition’s penalty area, Mason Mount looked somewhat uncomfortable as part of a midfield three with Casemiro and Fernandes.

He failed to showcase his attacking capabilities and did little to assist in defence when Wolves hit on the counter attack.

It’s early in the England international’s Manchester United career, but it was difficult to understand exactly what his role was during tonight’s match.
