Today Leny Yoro has travelled to Manchester in order to complete a medical assessment ahead of signing his new contract.

LOSC Lille were keen to capitalise on the £52 million (€62 million) bid from the Red Devils with the 18-year-old entering the final year of his contract.

For a while it was known that Yoro was favouring a move to Real Madrid, with the Spanish club having been the first to bid in for the defender.

However, it seems like United have done enough to overcome his indifference to the English Premier League and lure him to Old Trafford.

And a move isn’t really a move nowadays without an update on social media.

A few years back when Manchester United brought Romelu Lukaku from Everton, the first indication that it was going to happen was when Paul Pogba shared a video of the two discussing training the next day.

That gave MUFC fans a green light that Lukaku was on the way.

And a new update on Yoro’s social media profile seems to indicate something similar.

It looks as though his medical assessment has gone well with Yoro recently updating his social media profile.

Whilst the bio may seem very basic, the centre-back has removed reference to Lille from his bio.

Instead, the defender is advertising himself as “Sportsperson” with no reference to a club.

This suggests that Yoro is now finished with the Ligue 1 club and on the brink of finalising things with United to complete an Old Trafford move.

So it seems just a matter of time before Yoro is announced as an official Manchester United player.
