Injury-time goal gives Tottenham youngsters victory against West Ham

An injury-time penalty by Kazaiah Sterling gave Tottenham’s youngsters a 2-1 victory against West Ham in the Under-18 Premier League.

Tashan Oakley-Boothe gave Spurs the lead before Jahmal Hector-Ingram equalised for the visitors seven minutes before half-time after being set up by Anthony Scully.[phone]

West Ham threatened in the second half but Tottenham won it when Sterling netted from the spot after Jonathan Dinzeyi had been fouled by Rosaire Longelo.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Under-18s, who lead the table, beat Southampton 4-1, with Charlie Brown scoring twice and Callum Hudson-Odoi also netting. The other Blues goal was an an own goal by Christoph Klarer.

And Reece York’s first-half goal gave Fulham’s Under-18s a 1-0 win at home to Leicester.
