Matheus Cunha was the first player Manchester United acquired during the summer transfer window and is currently one of the team’s newest players.
The Red Devils’ cup match against Grimsby Town and all three of their first Premier League games have featured the Brazilian.
During Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Burnley a few weeks back, Cunha sustained an injury in the first half.
After his sprint, he wanted to be taken off right away and appeared to have torn his hamstring. T
he absence of updates regarding his condition has been the subject of much discussion.
CentreDevils exclusively revealed that Matheus Cunha’s injury isn’t as serious as first feared after initial scans.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Matheus Cunha has begun doing indoor individual grass work as he steps up his recovery.
As CentreDevils reported a few weeks back, his injury is not seen as bad as first feared.
The current expectation is for him not to be used against Chelsea, as they do not want to risk anything.
Cunha is working super hard and pushing to return to action soon.
Cunha’s impressive performances at Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he made a name for himself as an accomplished Premier League attacker, grabbed Ruben Amorim’s attention.
Despite playing in 36 games last season and contributing 17 goals and six assists, the 26-year-old’s performance was insufficient to place Wolves in the top half of the Premier League standings.
However, it showed his ability to be a reliable player in the league when he scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 36 games the previous season.
The Red Devils will for sure miss Cunha’s qualities against Chelsea.
Ruben Amorim will for sure be looking to have the Brazilian alongside the injured Mason Mount back soon in his team.
