Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat in the Manchester derby is still fresh in the minds of supporters, with pressure building on Ruben Amorim’s side after a limp showing at the Etihad.

The Red Devils remain stuck in the bottom half of the table after a stuttering start to the Premier League season and frustration continues to grow among the fanbase.

United’s misfiring attack has produced just a single goal from open play in their opening four league games and the latest reverse has only added to the scrutiny.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola’s City looked ruthless, with Erling Haaland leading the charge for yet another title push.

Despite Manchester United’s poor start to the season, the club’s hierarchy continue to back Ruben Amorim.

The gap between the two Manchester giants has rarely looked wider, and Sunday’s clash provided yet another painful reminder of how far United must climb.

Yet the derby also brought an unexpected off-field controversy.

Manchester City was forced to intervene after an employee was seen wearing a Manchester United jersey while pints at Etihad Stadium on the day of the derby.

A supporter shared the photo of the employee on social networks and reported it to the club, which quickly dismissed him from office.

On the ground, the Cityzens crushed their 3-0 rivals thanks to a double from Erling Haaland.

A supporter reported the incident to Manchester City by publishing a photo of the employee carrying a United T-shirt when he served pints for supporters on the day of the derby.

He wrote on X: “It’s a real joke @Mancity! Leave a member of the Bloc 315 bar staff to wear a united jersey on the day of the derby.”

City reacted swiftly once the post gained traction.

The club took note of the publication on X and quickly dismissed the person from his post in the stadium.

In response to the irritated supporter, they wrote: “Thank you for reporting to us this information.

“We can confirm that this person has been dismissed from his duties.”

While City celebrated their dominant win, the off-field drama only highlighted the fierce rivalry between the two clubs.
