Manchester United officialy announced the signing of Senne Lammens earlier this week.

The 23-year-old joins goalies Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, and Tom Heaton to compete for the number one spot.

After last year’s setbacks, Onana’s position as the team’s first-choice keeper is in question.

The young Belgian goalkeeper has now joined the Red Devils and is prepared to compete for the top slot after turning down Galatasaray because he is determined to play at Old Trafford.

With no sell-on clause, United agreed to pay £21.5 million (€25 million) for the goalie, which included a £18 million (€21 million) transfer price and £3.5 million (€4 million) in add-ons.

With the international break currently ongoing, Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff will be preparing for a huge Manchester Derby.

This is the first game after the break, with training going to be a huge component for this game.

Now, we can reveal when the team are set to return for training and new signing Senne Lammens is set to be involved.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal Manchester United’s first team is due back to training in Carrington next Wednesday, with Senne Lammens set to be involved.

The next few days will be key if Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount will be involved in the group training sessions due to their respective injuries.

We exclusively reported that Cunha had begun doing light upper body work at the gym; however, since then there has been no significant update.

The extent and type of injury on the Brazilian is still yet unknown.

Lisandro Martinez is not due in group training imminently yet but a return is not seen far away.

The Argentine has been training on grass by himself in the past month.

It is interesting to see how the next few days fairs and how Lammens will perform in his first session.
