With Alejandro Garnacho’s move to Chelsea confirmed from Old Trafford on Saturday, Chelsea officially revealed the number the Argentinian will be wearing in their big squad.
After completing the move on Saturday, Garnacho could be seen on TV cameras to watch his new club and team-mates as they beat Fulham 2-0.

Garnacho is available for selection after training at Cobham this week and could make his debut at Brentford on Saturday 13 September after the international break concludes.
The former Manchester United player has kept the same number he had at Old Trafford and will be wearing the No.49 shirt for the Blues.
After a lengthy summer of hints, a tumultuous relationship with Ruben Amorim and being left out of the Europa League final whilst making his frustrations clear in the post-match interview, Garnacho eventually got his move to Chelsea for £40 Million.
After the Brentford game which could be Garnacho’s debut, Chelsea play Manchester United in what is set to be a blockbuster encounter littered with narratives.
With the game being at Old Trafford, the Argentinian will have a swift return to the stadium where he has had many memorable moments and made his senior debut, emerging onto the football scene.
Ironically, Garnacho’s debut came against his current club Chelsea as the game finished 1-1 with Cristiano Ronaldo cancelling out Marcos Alonso’s goal.
