Manchester United’s deadline day activity is reaching fever pitch as Ruben Amorim looks to finalise key squad reinforcements before the window closes.

Goalkeeping has been a central concern for the Red Devils this summer, with Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir providing experience but lacking long-term certainty.

The club has been monitoring several options, balancing age, cost, and immediate impact, while also keeping an eye on competition from other European clubs.

With less than 24 hours remaining in the transfer window, United are under pressure to act decisively to ensure depth and quality between the posts for the season ahead.

Deadline day dealings have become synonymous with rapid negotiations, last-minute deals, and a flurry of conflicting reports from multiple sources.

Now, Manchester United are reportedly targeting two goalkeepers in a dramatic final push: Aston Villa’s World Cup-winning Emiliano Martinez and Royal Antwerp’s highly-rated 23-year-old, Senne Lammens.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Martinez already has an agreement in place with United, though any move still depends on terms being agreed with Aston Villa to complete the deal.

Sources close to the goalkeeper have cautioned that nothing is guaranteed today, with the outcome still uncertain.

At the same time, Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws claim that United have agreed personal terms with Senne Lammens, who has taken a private flight to England.

However, an agreement has yet to be reached with Royal Antwerp, leaving the Belgian’s future unclear.

Complicating matters, Aston Villa and Galatasaray remain interested in Lammens.

Should United complete a deal for Martínez, it could free Lammens to pursue options elsewhere, with Emery’s Villa ready to move if the Red Devils’ focus shifts.

The clock is ticking, and the next few hours could decide whether United secure one or neither of their goalkeeping targets.
