Several players have departed Manchester United this summer as the club has undergone a big change.
So far this transfer window, eight players have departed Old Trafford.
Among the names that have departed are Marcus Rashford who has joined Barcelona on a loan deal and Alejandro Garnacho who joined Chelsea yesterday on a seven-year deal.
Furthermore, some players have left via loan including Ethan Wheatley who joined Northampton Town.
However, even with eight players out of the door, more players look set to leave before tomorrow’s deadline.
One of these players may be Rasmus Hojlund who arrived in Naples yesterday to complete his move to Napoli.
Furthermore, with Antony’s future in the balance, we could see the Brazilian depart the club before the deadline.
Now, it appears that a United midfielder is going to depart the club before the deadline.
According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United youngster Zachary Baumann is close to a permanent transfer away from the club.
The 18 year-old is set to move away from United to kickstart his professional career according to the publication.
MEN have also stated that Baumann’s move is close to being agreed and is set to be sealed before the transfer deadline.
Since joining United’s academy, the midfielder has progressed and was part of a treble-winning Under-18 side in the 2023/24 season.
Zachary Baumann was originally born in Greater Manchester although is eligible to represent Ukraine’s national team.
The midfielder will become the ninth name to depart Old Trafford this summer following the likes of the names already stated earlier in this article.
His departure is also not the first of a youth academy player this summer following the departures of Ethan Wheatley and others on loan.
Now, attention will arguably turn towards an inevitable official announcement from the club.
