A move that would see Rasmus Hojlund move to Napoli is edging closer.
The striker, currently of Manchester United, previously gave a move to Naples his green light.
Furthermore, Napoli and United have agreed the terms over a deal for the Danish international to move to Italy.
As well as this, with Fabrizio Romano giving the move his famous ‘here we go’ tagline, the deal looks closer than ever to being completed.
The move has now taken its next step.
As revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio earlier, the striker was set to fly to Naples tonight.
Now, the striker has officially arrived in Naples as seen in this video below.
With the striker landing in the city, he will now travel to Napoli.
Whilst here, Rasmus Hojlund now undergo his medical tests ahead of his official move to the Italian champions.
Once he has completed his medical tests, an official announcement will likely be imminent alongside photos.
The announcement of the striker signing may come in the coming days as the transfer window near its closure.
The move to Napoli will arguably mark the start of a new era for the striker that will see him move to a Serie A side for the first time since 2023.
However, this move will also arguably be a continuation of the striker’s current era, one that started when he joined United.
Either way, given he is joining a new club, Hojlund will arguably aim to embrace the success he had in Italy during his time at Atalanta.
But, given that he is joining a new side, it could take a little bit of time to fit in and find his feet.
The process of this happening could hinder the striker’s abilities for the first couple of games.
