Rasmus Hojlund is one of the names that could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.

The striker, who has scored 26 times during his time with United, has previously given his green light for the move to Naples.

Furthermore, United and Napoli have agreed terms over a deal for the striker to move to the Italian champions.

As well as this, Fabrizio Romano gave the deal his famous ‘here we go’ sign off making his deal arguably more likely to happen given Romano’s good track record.

Now, the release clause in the deal has been revealed.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli have added a release clause of over £69 million.

Furthermore, the journalist has revealed that the loan fee for the deal is £5 million and the obligation fee is £38 million.

Rasmus Hojlund is set to arrive in Naples this evening with all the formal details of the deal finalised.

With Hojlund set to join the Italian champions, he will reunite with former Manchester United player Scott McTominay.

Furthermore, he will join names such as Kevin De Bruyne as Napoli look to retain their Serie A title.

He will also return to the Italian top tier for the first time since 2023 where he was with Atalanta.

The last time the Danish international was with a Serie A side, he scored 10 goals in 34 games – an average of a goal every 3.4 games.

But, given his time out of Italian football, it may arguably take time for him to readjust to its intensity.

Therefore, we may not see him hit the numbers that he can hit for a prolonged period.

But, none of this can occur until the completion of the deal and its official announcement.

Attention will arguably now turn towards an inevitable official announcement.
