Galatasaray have been preparing for the 2025-26 season this summer through making the changes that they think can help them to continue the recent success of the club, the same success that has seen them win three Super Ligs in a row.
To do this, the Turkish side have signed striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli, who had been linked with a move to Manchester United.
As well as this, the side have signed Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
Furthermore, Okan Burak’s side have signed Ismail Jacobs and Przemyslaw Frankowski from Monaco and Lens respectively.
Finally, and most importantly, the Turkish side have promoted goalkeeper Enes Emre Büyük from Galatasaray’s Under 19s side.
But, considering that Burak’s side have lost two goalkeepers in the transfer window – both on free transfers -, this promotion can be said to be expected.
But, even with this promotion, the Turkish side are still being linked with other goalkeepers in the market.
One of these is Senne Lammens.
The goalkeeper, currently of Royal Antwerp, has been a key name linked to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old can be seen as a potential replacement and threat to Andre Onana who currently occupies United’s number one position.
Furthermore, with a bid for the goalkeeper set to be accepted and with the shot-stopper giving the move his green light, the chances of the ‘keeper joining the Red Devils can be said to be at an all-time high.

However, now, Galatasaray are trying to hijack a potential deal for Senne Lammens.
According to the Mirror, the Turkish side have put in an “11th hour bid” this evening for the goalkeeper to try and hijack United’s deal for Lammens.
With this news now revealed, it appears that there could be potential for a hijack deal.
Furthermore, the chances of the 22-year-old joining United are not 100% yet.
But, considering the progress made in the deal, the transfer that would see Senne Lammens come to Old Trafford can be said to be more likely than unlikely.
