Marcus Rashford has had a busy summer, both at Manchester United and Barcelona ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Rashford, who officially joined the Spanish giants from the Red Devils in July in a loan deal, had been part of the infamous “bomb squad” which contained names such as Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho.

The Englishman was one member of this group to secure a move away from Old Trafford.

Since arriving in Spain, the winger has taken part in the Camp Nou outfit’s pre-season schedule.

In this schedule, he has made his debut in pre-season games. However, one key issue that was of concern to Barcelona was Rashford’s registration with La Liga which is required to allow him to play in the Spanish top flight.

The 27-year-old, alongside Joan Garcia, were two players that the Spanish giants were struggling to register due to the club’s ongoing financial issues.

But, now, Barcelona have officially solved the issue of registering Rashford.

When a viewer goes onto the official La Liga website, Marcus Rashford’s profile appears which is something that had previously not been the case.

Furthermore, the winger has been named on the bench for Barcelona’s La Liga fixture against Mallorca.

With this the case, Marcus Rashford will arguably be aiming to continue his excellent pre-season form that saw him score against FC Daegu as a part of the Spanish side’s 5-0 win.

If Rashford is able to continue his pre-season form, we may see the Englishman’s loan spell at Barcelona become successful which would benefit both the La Liga side and Manchester United, who the 27-year-old is still contracted to.

But, he won’t be able to make any sort of impact until he makes his La Liga debut.
