Manchester United’s off-field problems remain a major talking point as the club continues to struggle to restore its place among England’s elite.
Last season’s dismal 15th-place finish summed up a campaign in which the Red Devils spent heavily but achieved very little.
The club has also faced wide-scale redundancies and ongoing supporter protests, with many still unconvinced by the leadership at Old Trafford.
Even the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, who completed a minority takeover not long ago, has done little to ease concerns among the fanbase.
Now, a new survey has added to the sense of frustration surrounding the club.

Research from OnePoll via GOAL’s report reveals that Manchester United have been voted the worst run club in the Premier League – and by a significant margin.
The survey which received 2000 votes was based on factors such as strategy, leadership, finances, and fan engagement.
The results showed that 33% of respondents believe United are the poorest operated top-flight side.
That figure is almost five times higher than Everton and Chelsea, who finished joint-second with just 7% each.
Arsenal came fourth with 6%, followed by Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur at 5%.
Even reigning champions Manchester City, known for their financial power, received only 4% of the vote.
The survey also found that INEOS are not much more popular than the Glazer family, with frustrations over ownership still running high.
In contrast, 25% of fans voted Liverpool as the best run club in the league, with Chelsea and Manchester City tied for second on 11% each.
United will now be hoping their football can help change perceptions, starting with their Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim’s side ended pre-season with a 1-1 draw against Fiorentina, but three points at Old Trafford could provide a rare lift for supporters.
