Manchester United are preparing for their first Premier League game against Arsenal this Sunday.

Whilst The Red Devils drew 1-1 in their final pre-season game against Fiorentina last Saturday, their victory on penalties gave them a massive boost as well as ending the pre-season undefeated.

Ruben Amorim has now had the chance to test out Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, having joined the club this summer, however with Benjamin Sesko moving to Old Trafford so late in the day, he missed the final friendly fixture.

As such, United are exploring the opportunity to play a behind-closed-doors fixture to give some real-world experience to the Slovenia international as part of the team.

The game wouldn’t only benefit Sesko, but also Andre Onana and Joshua Zirkzee, who have been out for the entirety of the pre-season.

Whilst Benjamin Sesko participated in his first training session yesterday, Onana and Zirkzee also returned to the training pitch with their teammates, with some of the younger ranks also joining them.

Joshua Zirkzee and Andre Onana also returned to first-team training.

Now, Rich Fay has taken to X to reveal that seven of United’s exciting prospects have joined first-team training.

Jaydan Kamason, James Scanlon, Ethan Williams, Bendito Mantato, Rhys Bennet, Jacob Davey and Ethan Ennis were all involved in first-team training yesterday.

This news comes as Ruben Amorim is in the final week of preparations for the new Premier League season, having entered the pre-season already with his youngsters in mind.

Before the break, Amorim and his coaches created personalised conditioning plans for each of the senior squad and academy graduates who were expected to feature in the upcoming season.

As such, Amorim is hoping his squad are in the best shape to bounce back this season and start making progress in restoring United to their former glory.
