Benjamin Sesko is on his way to become a Manchester United player as an agreement in principle has been made between The Red Devils and RB Leipzig.
The talented striker is one of the few remaining top strikers available on in the transfer market after the likes of Hugo Ekitike, Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres have all committed their futures to Liverpool, Galatasaray and Arsenal, respectively.
With Sesko being presented United’s project of Ruben Amorim leading the club back to the top of world football, the Slovenia international is keen to join The Red Devils and make his mark at Old Trafford.
The club-to-club negotiations were the last piece of the puzzle for his move, as Sesko had already agreed personal terms to move to Old Trafford, and in turn rejected Newcastle United, seeing them withdraw from the race.
Now, more details of his five-year contract are beginning to emerge.
Previously it was reported that Sesko has taken a wage cut in moving to join United over Newcastle, with the Magpies being able to offer a higher salary.
However, his full wage details have now been revealed, with a clause inserted for an automatic raise down the line.
Slovenian journalist Rok Viskovic of Sportklub has reported that Benjamin Sesko is set to earn £160,000 per week at Old Trafford, working out as just over £8 million per year.
However a clause has also been included which would see his wage rise by 25% should United qualify for the Champions League, taking it to £200,000 per week.
How much will Benjamin #Sesko earn at #MUFC?
According to my information, £160,000 per week, which amounts to just over £8 million or just under €10 million per year.
The contract also includes a clause stating that – if Manchester United qualifies for the Champions League –…
