Manchester United are currently focused on outgoings in this summer’s transfer window.

After spending over £120 million on forwards Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, the club is now looking to raise funds through player sales in order to finance further additions to the squad.

United are targeting a new goalkeeper, midfielder, and striker, and have recently been linked with Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens and 22-year-old striker Benjamin Sesko.

One high-profile player United are looking to sell is winger Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentine has reportedly fallen out with manager Ruben Amorim towards the end of last season and is now expected to leave the club. Garnacho is understood to prefer a move within the Premier League, and United are open to a sale as he represents pure PSR profit.

Chelsea have maintained long-standing interest in Garnacho, dating back to the January transfer window.

A deal has looked unlikely as the London club were prioritising a move for attacking midfielder Xavi Simons, but that stance could now shift with Garnacho’s availability.

According to Fabrizio Romano on DAZN, Chelsea are open to making a deal for both Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.

Despite already adding several attacking players this window, the Blues remain keen on bolstering their frontline further, with both Simons and Garnacho seen as key targets.

While Simons is currently considered the priority, Chelsea’s interest in Garnacho remains strong, and a potential move for the Argentine is not being ruled out.

The club sees both players as part of their long-term project to strengthen their new-look attack.

After qualifying for the Champions League in Enzo Maresca’s first season, Chelsea are aiming to push for major honours.

Meanwhile, Manchester United would be open to a sale, but only at the right price, as they look to raise funds for further reinforcements.
