Manchester United are actively pursuing additional targets in the transfer window this summer, desperate to improve a squad that finished 15th in the Premier League last season.
Following the signings of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, United are now prioritising further recruitment, specifically targeting a goalkeeper, a central striker, and a midfielder.
Among the striker options being considered are Ollie Watkins, Nicolas Jackson, and Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko has a gentleman’s agreement with RB Leipzig allowing him to leave for a fee in the region of €70–80 million, plus an additional €5–10 million in add-ons.
Although United currently lack the immediate cash flow to complete such a deal, they are hoping to finalise a few player sales before reassessing their position regarding the Sesko move.
However, United face strong competition from Newcastle United for the 22-year-old striker, with reports suggesting Newcastle have already agreed personal terms with Sesko as they prepare for the possible departure of Alexander Isak this summer.

Philipp Hinze of Sky Sports Germany has now reported on X that RB Leipzig have agreed a deal for a potential Benjamin Sesko replacement.
Leipzig have reached a verbal agreement with Brazilian striker Romulo and have been in talks with Turkish club Goztepe for some time regarding the transfer.
The expected arrival of Romulo could be a strong indication that Sesko is set to leave Leipzig this summer, although his eventual destination remains uncertain.
United will be hopeful of making sales quickly in order to raise the necessary funds to compete for the striker.
However, if they fail to land Sesko, United are prepared to turn to other targets, with Premier League-proven forwards Ollie Watkins and Nicolas Jackson currently viewed as the leading alternatives.
🔴 As reported yesterday: RB Leipzig have reached a verbal agreement with Rômulo. The Brazilian is high on their list and could follow in Benjamin Sesko‘s footsteps in Leipzig. Göztepe and Leipzig have been in contact for some time.
