Al-Nassr are preparing for their next Saudi Pro League campaign, hoping to end their trophy drought.

Unfortunately the side are yet to add silverware to their trophy cabinet since Cristiano Ronaldo joined them in 2023 after his second stint with Manchester United.

Since then the Saudi side have brought in talents like Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte and John Duran, however are still yet to be crowned league champions.

The last time Al-Nassr won was six years ago, winning the 2018/19 season, but are hoping now to end their wait for another league title.

As such, the Saudi giants have already signed Joao Felix from Chelsea for £45 million, turning once more to the Premier League for one of Manchester United’s outcasts.

According to Santi Aouna via X, Al-Nassr have sent a bid to Old Trafford for Antony.

Antony’s future has been in question for some time, with the winger spending the second half of last season on loan with Real Betis.

Thankfully the Brazil international enjoyed a resurgence in LaLiga with the Spanish side hoping to retain their new star long-term.

Unfortunately however a permanent move to Betis is yet to materialise, opening the door for Al-Nassr.

Whilst it’s not yet known how Antony feels about the bid, this week the winger’s agent has revealed that the star would be open to a move to the Saudi Pro League.

As such, with United wanting to offload the star permanently, and Antony open to a move, there’s little in the way to Al-Nassr signing their man.

With Antony now potentially on the way out, and Marcus Rashford on loan with Barcelona, only Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia remain of the “bomb squad” to be sold.
