Benjamin Sesko has been at a player of interest for several Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal.

The striker impressed in the Bundesliga last season scoring 13 times whilst assisting a further five times.

He joined his current club, RB Leipzig, in the 2023 summer transfer window.

Since then, he has made 87 appearances across two seasons. In this period, he has also scored 39 times (an average of 0.44 goals per match).

His performances across these two seasons attracted the interest of Newcastle United and Manchester United and Arsenal.

But, with Arsenal looking likely to sign Viktor Gyokeres following confirmation from Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils and Newcastle United are left as the two clubs interested in the striker.

Both sides are looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign which kicks off in just two weeks time.

The two sides currently have a range of striker options available to them.

For Eddie Howe’s side, their options include Swedish international Alexander Isak who scored 23 goals in the English top flight last season.

For Ruben Amorim’s side, their options include Rasmus Hojlund who scored four times in the Premier League last season.

But, for both sides, the addition of Benjamin Sesko to their squads would add depth and quality in areas where it is not currently present.
