Manchester United’s preparations for the new season continue in full swing as the Reds push ahead with pre-season fixtures under Ruben Amorim’s sharp tactical eye.

Amid summer transfer business, the club has already seen exciting moves, including the high-profile arrival of Bryan Mbeumo, who is expected to feature heavily this term.

United fans were recently given a glimpse of what Amorim’s preferred starting XI might look like over the weekend, with a balanced blend of youth and experience starting to take shape.

As anticipation builds for another competitive Premier League campaign, the fixture list for September has now been confirmed — but with key changes that reflect the commercial and competitive pull of the Reds.

All three of Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures in September have been rescheduled for live broadcast coverage, as per the official Manchester United website.

The month kicks off with a massive showdown — the Manchester derby against City at the Etihad Stadium.

It will now take place on Sunday 14 September at 16:30 BST, occupying Sky Sports’ Super Sunday slot.

It’s a match that holds fond memories for United supporters, after last season’s dramatic 2-1 comeback victory thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo.

One week later, on Saturday 20 September, Old Trafford hosts Chelsea, with the kick-off moved to 17:30 BST, again for live broadcast on Sky Sports.

The following weekend sees the Reds travel to West London to face Brentford.

The match has now been moved to Saturday 27 September at 12:30 BST, with TNT Sports providing the coverage.

That encounter promises extra narrative, as it will be the first time Bryan Mbeumo returns to his former club since his move to Manchester United.

Brentford, now managed by Keith Andrews following Thomas Frank’s switch to Spurs, have also added former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson to their squad.

United will be hoping for maximum points across the month, with all eyes watching.

With the spotlight firmly on Amorim’s side throughout September, the Reds have another opportunity to prove their worth in front of millions.
