To prevent a terrible performance like the one last season, when the Red Devils recorded their poorest result in Premier League history, Manchester United are looking to enhance their squad this summer.
Ruben Amorim has a difficult challenge ahead of him to recover next year after finishing in 15th position and missing out on European football.
Matheus Cunha has already signed, with Bryan Mbeumo set to have his medical tests this weekend, as revealed by CentreDevils.
However, the Red Devils are still looking to bolster their midfield despite these attacking additions.

Casemiro is entering his final years and has been linked to a move away in recent weeks.
As such, there have been many names that have been linked to Manchester United to cover that position.
One name who the Red Devils have held talks with is Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios.
It seems now that Ruben Amorim’s side could miss out on him.
As per Fabrizio Romano via X, a Benfica director is set for a mission in Brazil due to start later today, as the Richard Rios deal can accelerate this weekend.

Fabrizio Romano also mentions that Benfica have been informed by Palmeiras that AS Roma still didn’t match their £26m (€30m) fee.
Since joining Palmeiras in 2023, Rios has shown his potential, making the world of football take note of what he has to offer.
In a Club World Cup match against Porto, he controlled midfield and attracted attention with his strong physical presence and high level of energy.
He became well-known for his efforts in the 2024 Copa América, where he played a crucial role in Colombia’s progress to the championship game.
Alongside Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte, Rios could have provided healthy competition for that midfield role.
But with Benfica now pushing for the Palmeiras man, a deal is looking less likely for the Red Devils.
