Signed in 2021 for £73 million after dazzling for Borussia Dortmund with his flair and technical quality, expectations were sky high.

He arrived as one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe, but fans have been left waiting – and waiting – for him to deliver.
On the pitch, his numbers have disappointed, with just 12 goals in 89 Premier League appearances combined for United and Chelsea.
Off the pitch, discipline issues and a loan spell that ended prematurely with Chelsea paying £5 million to cancel their purchase obligation only added to the fall from grace.
Now, an exit looks all but certain under Ruben Amorim, who has yet to involve Sancho in his first-team plans since arriving at Old Trafford.
According to CaughtOffside’s report, the 25-year-old has now reached an agreement with Juventus to join them this summer.
Sancho’s agent arrived in Turin this week to try and finalise a deal this week, with United set to give the winger a £4.3 million severance payment to support his taking a wage-cut.

The only step left is for the two clubs to agree a fee, with United demanding £21 million (€25m), a figure deemed too high by Juventus.
CaughtOffside’s report also states that Juventus have most recently submitted a £14 million (€17m) bid, with talks progressing positively.
Sancho is willing to wait for the Old Lady to get the deal done, though he’s urging them to move forward quickly.
After witnessing other players like Scott McTominay revive their careers abroad, Sancho will hope that a move out of England brings a fresh start.
