As the summer transfer moves on, Manchester United are still looking to strengthen their squad despite talks for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo stalling.
The Red Devils have only managed to secure Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers as a major signing so far this summer, with Mbeumo set to be their second.
A month on from initial contact over the Cameroon international and an agreement still isn’t in place between the two clubs.

However, this isn’t stopping United’s recruitment team from lining up potential other signings for after some sales have been made.
On their list to go is Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony, whilst the club are reportedly still looking to sign a striker, a midfielder, a wing-back and a goalkeeper.
Recently The Red Devils have been looking to Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens and Botafogo’s John Victor as options between the sticks, with Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins most likely to join up front.

However, it’s Brighton and Hove Albion’s Pervis Estupinan who’s emerged as a leading option for their wingback signing.
Earlier it was reported that The Red Devils and AC Milan had both begun contact with the defender and his camp to discuss a potential move.
However, Eduardo Burgos, journalist for Spanish publication AS, has now reported that Pervis Estupinan will leave Brighton this summer.
This gives a massive boost to United, with The Seagull’s signing of Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge seemingly having opened the door for an easier exit for Estupinan.
