Manchester United continue to assess goalkeeping reinforcements as Ruben Amorim’s side prepare for their pre-season campaign to begin.
With Andre Onana still sidelined through injury, the Red Devils are weighing up short- and long-term options to provide depth and competition between the posts.
While United have been linked to several experienced names, there’s also an eye on younger talents who could develop under Amorim’s coaching team.

The club’s transfer strategy this window has leaned toward long-term planning, with INEOS focused on sustainable squad-building rather than just high-profile signings.
Now, a new name has entered the conversation as Manchester United reportedly turn their attention to Royal Antwerp’s highly-rated 23-year-old, Senne Lammens.
Royal Antwerp sporting director Marc Overmars confirmed the likelihood of the young shot-stopper leaving the Belgian side this summer.
“The transfer of Senne Lammens has to happen, because we’ve already signed his replacement,” Overmars said.
“We’d rather not see a Butez-Lammens scenario again.
“Senne is our most sought-after player. There are plenty of clubs ready to make a move.”
According to Gazet van Antwerpen, Manchester United and newly-promoted Leeds United are the two leading clubs interested in Senne Lammens, with both monitoring his situation closely.

The report suggests United are considering Lammens as a potential support option for Onana, while Leeds view him as their guaranteed No.1 should a deal be struck.
Antwerp are said to be demanding around £17 million for their prized talent.
Lammens’ physicality, command in the air and sharp reflexes have made him one of Belgium’s most promising young goalkeepers, and his maturity for his age continues to impress scouts across Europe.
Although Leeds appear more advanced in their pursuit, the mere fact United are involved underlines just how highly rated Lammens is.
Should Leeds pull off the move, it would represent a major coup for the Yorkshire club, but United’s presence in the race means the situation remains one to watch.
