Manchester United’s pre-season is well underway, with Ruben Amorim getting a clearer picture of the players he wants to rely on for the 2025/26 campaign.
Several returning loanees are facing uncertain futures, and with the club aiming to streamline its squad, outgoings remain a major focus for the Red Devils this month.
INEOS have made it clear that fringe players will be moved on, especially those who haven’t lived up to their price tag or don’t fit the new tactical vision.

While the club is still looking to strengthen key positions, the board is also determined to raise funds through sales, making space for younger talents and fresh signings.
One name who has continued to make headlines is Antony.
The Brazilian winger, who has failed to justify his hefty transfer fee since arriving at Old Trafford, now finds himself back in Manchester – but not for long, if he gets his way.
According to Al Final De La Palmera, Antony has flown in to meet with Manchester United executives to clarify his stance on his future.
After spending last season on loan at Real Betis, the 25-year-old is determined to return to the La Liga side permanently, despite no contract currently tying him to the Spanish outfit.
Throughout his summer break, Antony has made no secret of his desire to stay in Seville, frequently wearing Betis training shorts in videos and social media posts, even after his loan ended on 30 June.

He’s expected to communicate his wish directly to United’s hierarchy this week, making it clear that a move back to Betis is his top priority.
United, however, are pushing for a permanent sale rather than another loan.
Talks with Betis have already taken place, with a loan that includes a mandatory purchase clause on the table.
But no final agreement has been reached, and there’s still a chance other clubs could enter the race.
Real Betis president Angel Haro has shared an update on the club’s intentions moving forward.
He confirmed that Betis are working on a permanent deal for Antony, who made a strong impression during his loan spell last season.
Haro explained: “We’re talking to the player because coming to Betis entails a considerable reduction in salary.”
Antony’s future now hinges on whether all parties can reach a financial agreement in the coming days.
