Moise Kean had an impressive 2024-25 Serie A campaign that saw him grab 19 goals whilst picking up three assists from his 32 appearances for the Italian club.

The 25-year-old has already had a long and elusive career which has seen him play at clubs such as Everton, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, following his impressive spell at Fiorentina last campaign, Kean has attracted interest from several new clubs such as Manchester United who had targeted the striker as a potential option for their upcoming season.

But, the Italian international had also attracted interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal and Al-Qadsiah with both sides targeting Kean this summer.

Now, according to Italian outlet Gianluca di Marzio, Moise Kean has rejected the prospect of a move to Saudi Arabia following conversations with Alessandro Lucci, his agent, about what was best for his career.

This decision has now made one thing clear, that at this stage in his career, the striker does not wish to play in Saudi Arabia.

With this decision now made and with Kean still wants to play his football in Europe next season, several options suddenly arise.

One of those is to stay at Fiorentina and to renew his contract.

However, he may also choose to pursue a move away from the Serie A side and this is where a move to Manchester United may become viable.

The 25-year-old currently has as release clause in his contract, which expires on Tuesday, giving United an opportunity to by-pass negotiations with Fiorentina if they trigger the clause for £45 million.

If Kean was to join United, it wouldn’t be the first time he has played in the Premier League on a permanent basis.

But, he would return to the Premier League as a different and more cultured striker than he was at the time of his departure from Everton in 2021.
