It’s been a difficult transfer window so far for Manchester United and their supporters – as expected after missing out on Champions League football.
The club have already missed out on key targets like Liam Delap, who joined Chelsea.
As well as Viktor Gyokeres who’s set to join Arsenal.
Thus, leaving the Red Devils scrambling to reinforce their forward line ahead of pre-season.

While Matheus Cunha has been brought in and already training with the squad, the lack of elite-level European football has made negotiations slower and more complicated across the board.
Now, focus is firmly on Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo – a player United have spent the past month chasing, and one Rio Ferdinand insists they “have got to” sign.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents on YouTube, the former defender said: “David Ornstein, who’s a friend of the channel, has reported that he [Mbeumo] has told Tottenham, he’s told Brentford that he only wants to join Manchester United.
“So Man United have to find a way of meeting Brentford’s valuation.”
The club legend stressed that the saga has dragged on too long to end in failure, adding: “I think the proposal is £55m with £7.5m add-ons.
“That doesn’t seem to be enough, maybe, for Brentford, but I think Man United have to get this done.”

Ferdinand warned the club could face major embarrassment if a deal collapses: “I think it’s been in the news for far too long to get to a situation where you get to the end of the window and it doesn’t happen.
“I think that would be a custard, egg on your face situation for Man United, unless they go and get someone else, another striker.
“Who have they got waiting in the wings as an alternative?”
He also praised Mbeumo’s Premier League experience and physical profile: “He fits the bill for me physically.
“He’s dynamic, scores goals in the Premier League, knows the Premier League. Watch this space.”
United are still confident of completing the transfer before their pre-season tour of America kicks off on July 22.
Discussions are ongoing despite the current gap in valuation.
