Over the last year, Napoli have been linked with several Manchester United stars after signing Scott McTominay from Old Trafford last summer.
In his debut Serie A season, McTominay helped Antonio Conte and his men secure the league title and was awarded league MVP.
However, Napoli have been continuously looking for his former teammates to accompany him in Italy, with the Azzurri being linked to Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Rasmus Hojlund.

Despite reports going cold for all three over recent weeks, Napoli are reportedly back in the running for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho.
The Mirror has reported that Napoli are now considering a bid of £45 million to sign the Argentina international.
Conte initially wanted Garnacho as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia when the Georgian winger moved to PSG in the winter.
However, with United wanting upwards of £60 million, Napoli pulled away from the deal, leaving the position vacant.

Now, despite United having a £70 million price tag on the talented youngster, Conte is hoping to cash in on the very public bust-up between Garnacho and Ruben Amorim, leaving the winger with no place at Old Trafford.
Whilst the £45 million bid would fall short of United’s asking price, Amorim’s comments to Garnacho in training, saying “you better pray that you can find a club to sign you”, has gone some way to weaken United’s position for negotiations.
Aside from Napoli, only Chelsea have shown interest in the winger, once more strengthening the Italian champions’ position, not having to out bid other clubs.
Unfortunately for United they may have to accept making a cut-price deal if they are serious about Garnacho’s time at Old Trafford being over.
