Manchester United’s preparations for the new Premier League season are well underway, with Ruben Amorim now leading his first pre-season as manager at Carrington.
New signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon have already begun training with the squad, while the club continues to pursue further reinforcements in key areas, including midfield and attack.
Bryan Mbeumo remains a prime target, with talks progressing, while the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Kees Smit are also being tracked ahead of what promises to be a busy few weeks for the Old Trafford hierarchy.

With several players including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony facing uncertain futures, the fixture calendar is now starting to take shape as the Reds ramp up preparations for the 2025/26 campaign.
Manchester United’s first away trip of the new season, against Fulham, has been rescheduled and will now take place on Sunday 24 August, kicking off at 16:30 BST, instead of the intial Saturday 23 August kick-off, as the club announced through the official website.
The move means that Amorim’s side will begin the season with back-to-back appearances in the Premier League’s marquee ‘Super Sunday’ slot, following the opening fixture against Arsenal at Old Trafford on 17 August.
The Fulham fixture will be broadcast live, giving United fans an early opportunity to see how the team is developing under Amorim’s new tactical system.

United’s third and final league fixture in August — at home to Burnley on Saturday 30 August — remains unchanged, with kick-off set for 15:00 BST before the first international break of the season.
United will be hoping to continue their excellent record at Craven Cottage, where they’ve won each of their last eight Premier League visits.
Since Fulham’s return to the top flight in 2022, United have edged out all three meetings away from home by fine margins — including a dramatic stoppage-time winner from Alejandro Garnacho and a late long-range strike by Lisandro Martinez in January.
With a difficult start on paper, Amorim will be counting on his new recruits and experienced core to get the season off to a flying start.
