Manchester United is still acquiring some outstanding players.

Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, and Leny Yoro were among the players who joined the team last season in an effort to bolster the defence; all three fit in well with Amorim’s back three scheme.

Leny Yoro had an exceptional first season.

One of the world’s most highly rated young centre-backs, United beat Real Madrid to secure his signature.

Yoro is expected to play a key role in Amorim’s system as the squad enters a new season, providing both defensive solidity and the ability to move the ball forward swiftly.

In addition to them, Patrick Dorgu, the Denmark international’s first-choice left-back at Old Trafford after being signed from Lecce, is displaying signs of his future.

Diego Leon, a left-back from Cerro Porteno, is another outstanding addition to United’s roster, joining Dorgu and Harry Amass.

After being signed by United in the winter, the Paraguayan defender had to wait until he turned eighteen to officially join the Red Devils.

The club officially announced the signing of the defender this morning.

In addition to that, CentreDevils can exclusively reveal some inside information regarding Diego Leon’s first few days in Manchester and how star player Leny Yoro has helped him settle in so far.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Leny Yoro has been helping Diego Leon starting life in Manchester not only by helping him settle in life in Manchester but also by beginning training with him.

We can reveal that the pair have been doing both grass and strength and conditioning training in order to raise fitness levels ahead of preseason.

Leon has also met with Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff.

The expectation as of now is that Leon will be with the first team for preseason for the initial friendly games to give the club more of an idea to evaluate is future.

Following his graduation from the Porteno academy in July 2024, Leon quickly became the team’s starting left-back, scoring four goals in 33 games.

Leon’s desire to join the Red Devils was equally as strong as United’s, which is not surprising given the young player’s already excellent skill.

Leny Yoro helping him settle in could be crucial for his integration and his future.
