With a month and a half to go until the 2025/26 Premier League season gets underway, Manchester United are preparing for the pre-season tour of America.
However, the club aren’t only getting ready for the new season and to bounce back from last year’s awful campaign, but also preparing for the changes ahead of them to be implemented in the new Premier League season.
It’s already been reported that broadcasters will be interviewing substitutes during the match and have access to the changing rooms for further coverage.
Now, another major change is set to affect the clubs in their preparations.

The Daily Mail has reported that the new coverage will also impact on training sessions, having players and managers wearing microphones and cameras.
It’s understood that clubs have agreed to the change, opening the doors of their training facilities at least once per campaign, allowing for further behind-the-scenes footage.
This move allows for fans to get an inside look at how clubs prepare for matches, being a step up from the current arrangement with broadcasters.

Currently, once a month, broadcasters are allowed access to the training grounds to film the session for with the remit of it accompanying reporting and coverage.
However, the new rule says that every club has to grant the League’s production partner access to a 30-minute ‘Enhanced Training Session’, with at least one player, plus the manager or a coach, wired up for audio.
It’s understood that each team has to put forward a shortlist of five recent starters for the Premier League to choose who will be highlighted in the session.
Whilst the clubs can choose to film the sessions themselves, it has to meet with the League’s production brief.
