Manchester United are looking to offload several members of their squad in a bid to generate funds for new signings.
Whilst the club reportedly have the funds to trigger the £92.5 million of release clauses for Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap, any other signings will need a cash injection to the club.
As such, The Red Devils are exploring options to offload the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana who have had questionable seasons at best.
Hojlund in particular has failed to live up to the £72 million fee that United paid Atalanta for him in 2022, experiencing a 21 game goal drought this season.
As such, Amorim is looking to Delap to replace the Denmark international, with Hojlund still having interest across Europe.

Fenerbahce push to sign Rasmus Hojlund
Turkish outlet Fotomac has reported that Fenerbahce’s sporting director Mario Branco is due to travel to England to hold talks with United over signing Hojlund this summer.
The Turkish side are in the market for a striker, with Edin Dzeko set to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Fenerbahce are also at risk of losing Cenk Tosun and Youssef En-Nesyri this summer, only heightening their need for a striker to join the club.
It’s understood that Jose Mourinho’s side are proposing an initial loan deal with the option to purchase him at the end of next season.
This season we’ve season both Antony and Marcus Rashford thrive with their respective loan spells with Real Betis and Aston Villa, so a temporary move from Old Trafford could be a good step for Hojlund.
Amorim and his team have previously been concerned that it would be difficult to offload the struggling striker due to his poor performances, so if Fenerbahce do come to the table, it could be a good move for all involved.
