Juventus have reportedly made Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund a key summer target.

The Danish striker could be pushed out at Old Trafford as Ruben Amorim prepares to overhaul the squad with a new elite striker.

Hojlund has struggled to live up to expectation in the Premier League, with just four league goals this season.

It was even revealed that coaches within Carrington had started to lose real faith in the 22-year-old.

United are pursuing names like Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen.

Both of whom, would likely displace Hojlund in the pecking order.

Having already spent around £72m on Hojlund, the Red Devils are reluctant to sell at a loss due to Premier League PSR rules.

Despite it looking unlikely that United will recoup the full fee back.

Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic offered to Manchester United

According to Tuttosport via IlBianconero, Juventus are aware of this and may try to negotiate a swap deal to reduce the transfer fee.

The Serie A side are reportedly willing to offer Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic to United as potential makeweights in any move.

Luiz is open to leaving Turin for personal and sporting reasons and would welcome a return to the Premier League.

The former Aston Villa midfielder reportedly wants to move to United.

Vlahovic, whose contract expires in 2026, could be a tougher fit due to his high wages.

Napoli are also interested in Rasmus Hojlund according to the report, but Juventus remain determined to strike a deal.

The 22-year-old striker previously impressed in Serie A with Atalanta and a return to Italy could reignite his career.

Regardless of what happens, Hojlund’s tenure at United is likely to be one looked back on with regret.

The lack of elite and experienced striker for the Dane to compete with, certainly made his task much more difficult from day 1.

INEOS will be aware of the need to build a balanced side, in order to compete at the top.

One that doesn’t put too much pressure on raw players to instantly thrive.
