Manchester United are preparing for a massive summer rebuild under incoming manager Ruben Amorim.
Sweeping changes are expected across all levels of the squad.
The club’s hierarchy is determined to reduce the wage bill, avoid bloating the squad, and generate funds to help ease any concerns around Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

As a result, a significant number of outgoings are expected in the coming months.
Senior players such as Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen are already poised to depart.
United are looking to phase out long-serving or fringe squad members as part of a new era at Old Trafford.
And the planned overhaul will not be limited to the first team.
Further outgoings expected beyond Manchester United first team
The Manchester Evening News reports that Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, and James Nolan are all set to leave the club this summer after United opted not to offer the trio new contracts.
Kingdon, 19, was a key figure in last season’s Under-18 treble-winning side and has impressed during his loan spell with Rochdale in the National League, helping them reach the play-offs.
The centre-back was close to joining INEOS-owned FC Lausanne Sport on loan in January, having already trained with the Swiss club’s first team and impressed staff.
Kingdon, who joined United from Morecambe in 2020, has also taken part in first-team training at Carrington.
He is a regular for Scotland at youth level.
Murray, 20, arrived at United from Huddersfield as a teenager and featured in all six games of the club’s victorious 2022 FA Youth Cup campaign.

The left-back recently captained the Under-21s against Wolves and found the net in the PL2 play-off clash with West Ham earlier this week.
His leadership and consistency made him a regular in the academy setup.
Nolan, 19, has shown his versatility during a season-long loan at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, where he has made 33 appearances, primarily at full-back.
The Chorley-born defender signed for the Scottish League One side last summer and has continued to develop with regular senior football.
The trio’s departures are part of a broader reshaping of the club’s youth ranks.
It illustrates the extent of change being implemented this summer at United.
