Manchester United are set to reward one of their talented defenders with a new contract after an impressive set of performances this season.
With the club experiencing another spate of injuries this season, Ruben Amorim has had to use all his senior players as well as calling on his youth stars to pull their weight.
New signings for this season Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven have all been thrust into the starting elevens, with Dorgu being the only one not to be side-lined through injury as of yet.
As such, stars like Harry Amass and Tyler Fredricson have been launched into the first team, making their debuts this season, with Jaydan Kamason likely to follow them very soon.
However, The Red Devils are reportedly so pleased with one of their stars, new contract negotiations are due to start at the end of the season.

Manchester United to hand Harry Amass new contract

Fabrizio Romano has now reported that staff at Old Trafford are so impressed with Harry Amass, they’re looking to reward him with a new contract at the end of the season.
During the winter, it looked like their was real potential for United to lose their young left-back, with Ruud van Nistelrooy wanting to bring the youngster to Leicester.
However, the need for squad rotation, especially with the Europa League fixtures dispersed amongst the Premier League games, Amass has been able to show his potential at Old Trafford.
Now, Amass looks to be in a strong position to retain his role as the back-up left-wing-back at the club, even with youngster Diego Leon joining in the summer.
🚨 Manchester United are planning for new deal talks with Harry Amass after the end of the season.
