Manchester United have seen a change in their fixture with Chelsea, which was set for two weeks time.

The pair of Premier League giants were set to face off at Stamford Bridge on Friday 16th May 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 BST.

With this being the penultimate game of the season, United will be heading into the game hoping to edge slightly higher in the bottom half of the table.

However, Chelsea could well still be fighting for a Champions League place, currently sitting in fifth place with 63 points, with Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa chasing them on 61 and 60 points respectively.

Chelsea are set to face Nottingham Forest in the final game of the season, hoping to put them further clear of The Tricky Trees, however will be facing United first.

Match rescheduling affects Manchester United vs Chelsea

Now, the Premier League have delayed the start time of the United and Chelsea game by 15 minutes, due now to start at 20:15 BST.

The reason for the change is due to the rescheduling of Aston Villa’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur being moved to the same date, starting at 19:30 BST, with both fixtures set to be broadcast by Sky Sports.

Spurs’ match with The Villains was originally set for Sunday 18th May 2025 at 14:15 BST, however has been moved with the prospect of Tottenham playing in the Europa League final.
