After a disappointing season, INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are keen to transform Manchester United’s fortunes.
The minority shareholders took control of sporting operations upon their arrival in 2022, and an internal overhaul has followed.
Job cuts have been rife, with the club announcing around 450 cuts to staff roles in the last couple of years.

And in April, CentreDevils exclusively revealed that 150 more staff members would be made redundant, in an effort to reduce debts.
United are still suffering from huge loans taken out by the Glazer family, with the club losing around £25m every financial quarter.
But INEOS have made some appointments aimed at strengthening the languishing first-team.

Further changes to transfer strategy in Manchester
The latest potential appointment would be aimed at improving the player recruitment at Old Trafford.
And according to The Sun, Manchester United bosses are ready to sign former Chelsea talent spotter Jim Fraser.
Fraser spent 20 years at Chelsea, serving as the club’s academy chief, but has since been placed on gardening leave ahead of a departure from the club.
Under his watch, players such as – now Manchester United player – Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher, and Reece James made their way through the club’s academy and into the first team.
The experienced scout looks set to oversee the next generation of talent at Manchester United, with increasing efforts to bring in young talent clearly part of the INEOS strategy.
