Manchester United are heading into their Premier League match up with Brentford on the back of an incredible win over Athletic Club in the Europa League.
The first leg of the Semi-Finals took place in Spain, with United bringing a 3-0 advantage to their home clash at Old Trafford next week.
However, with Amorim’s men giving everything to bring home the win, we could see a huge change to Amorim’s starting line-up against Brentford.
Amorim has already established that he’ll be relying on some of his youngsters for the game as the Premier League fixture is sandwiched between the two Europa League legs.

Ruben Amorim to rely on youth stars against Brentford

Knowing of the quick turn around between the Athletic Club match and United’s game with Brentford, Amorim made the move to take some of his youth stars to Spain to train for tomorrow’s outing.
Youngsters like Harry Amass, Chido Obi and Tyler Fredricson were in the travelling side, who have all had their senior debuts this season.
However, alongside them, Sekou Kone, Bendito Mantato and Jaydan Kamason also booked their slot on the plane despite not grabbing a senior appearance as of yet.
Whilst it’s expected that Amass, Obi and Fredricson will all start tomorrow, so too could Kamason with Noussair Mazraoui needing a rest and Diogo Dalot out with injury.
Other stars set to miss the game through injury are Lisandro Martinez who is still recovering form his ACL tear, Ayden Heaven, Toby Collyer and Joshua Zirkzee.
With Zirkzee out, this leaves Rasmus Hojlund and Chido Obi as the club’s only strikers, meaning it’s highly likely we’ll see Obi start off on the weekend.
However, Amorim has also commented on how difficult Brentford can be to clay against, commenting: “I know Brentford are a really tough team with a lot of quality. They have a really good bond between every player. You can feel it. We need to be prepared for a tough game against Brentford.”
As such it’s extremely unlikely that Amorim will be fielding a team of youngsters at the start of the game.
Luke Shaw will probably reappear in the back three alongside either Victor Lindelof or Matthijs de Ligt, with the Dutchman finally recovered from injury.
At the other end of the pitch we could see Amad Diallo return after his cameo against Athletic Club, with Mason Mount also a likely start to rest Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho.
In the middle of the pitch, Manuel Ugarte could see a reunion with Kobbie Mainoo now that he’s fighting fit once more, with Altay Bayindir likely to appear in goal, as he did between the Lyon fixtures, to give Andre Onana a breather.
